Foreign LLC / Corporation Registration
Lawyers Company Service, Ltd. can help you register your
foreign LLC or corporation to transact business in
New Mexico. Our fee, which includes the NM registered
agent service for the first year, is $189 for a foreign
LLC and $229 for a foreign corporation. If you
supply the NM-based registered agent, the fee is $139
for LLC and $169 for corporation. In addition,
the State of NM charges a filing fee of $100 per LLC
and a fee between $200 and $1,000 per corporation. Briefly,
LCS would fill out the application for registration
for the foreign LLC or corporation, and would send
it to you to be signed by an authorized person associated
with the LLC. Send that back and LCS will file the
documents with the NM Public Regulation Commission
and obtain your certificate of authority. Just email

and we will send you a list of the information and documents
needed.
Amendments
LCS can handle simple amendments to your corporation or
LLC documents. These include:
- Change of Name
- Change of Purpose
- Change of Authorized Stock (Corporation) or LLC membership interests
The cost of these amendments ranges from $49 to $99.
We also can handle simple additions or departures of members or shareholders. These can be more involved and can have legal and/or tax implications. Our fee for doing the paperwork only would start at $99. Any legal or tax analysis would have to be performed by a competent professional and is outside of our document work.
Change of Registered Agent
Do you need or prefer to use a service as registered agent for your existing
corporation or LLC? Simply click on the Registered Agent Service button
and fill in the secure form! Our fee is $85 per year. (See Fees and Costs for available discounts.)
Expedited Processing and Delivery
By law, the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission has up to 15 business days to process the submitted Articles of Incorporation/Organization). The PRC then normally mails the filed Articles back to us.
If you need to speed up this process, there are two ways to do it:
(a) We can submit an expedited document request to the NMPRC. The fee charged by the PRC is $200 for two-day processing and $300 for one-day turnaround.
(b) We can have the papers delivered to the PRC for filing and then have the completed papers picked up at the PRC instead of mailed. Cost of Service: $40.
Note: the PRC expediting fees do not include expedited delivery/pickup. If you want the documents delivered and returned by courier, you should order that service in addition to the PRC expediting.
